Sharon Van Etten, ‘Serpents’
Our first preview of Sharon Van Etten’s forthcoming LP, Tramp, is here — complete with a taste of the notable collaborations set to appear on the guest-laden set. “Serpents,” an Aaron Dessner-recorded tune that sets the vocal’s emotional arc against a building, turbulent backdrop, features Wye Oak’s Jenn Wasner, drummer Matt Barrick of the Walkmen, and Doveman.
